Sales Pipeline

The sales pipeline is the ultimate tool to kick your sales team into high gear with sales automation and easily manage your leads manually or automatically.

You can download the Groundhogg sales pipeline addon from Groundhogg website (click here) and install it on your website. Once you successfully integrated sales pipeline, you will be able to see new menus under Groundhogg tab named Deals and Pipeline apart from that this add on contains its own benchmarks and actions to get most out of it.


Pipeline contains a series of stages which your sales team can use to move deal in between.

Users can add new pipeline by clicking “Add New” button on the top of the page. This will redirect users to brand new layout where they can add stages and create deals. By default pipeline contains four stages but you can add more stages by clicking “Add Stage” button.

Adding Deals

There are three different ways which you can use to create deals inside pipeline all of them are explained below.

You can add new deals in any stage by clicking the “Add Deal” button in any stage. While adding deal you need to insert details about a deal like the title of a deal, contact details, deal owner, potential revenue etc.

Sales pipeline also provide Create deal action using which you can automatically create a deal in your pipeline. Note section of this action also supports replacement codes.

If you prefer traditional WordPress layout to create deals then you can do that as well. To create a deal using traditional layout, navigate your self to deals page. On this page, you can find “Add Deal” button this button enables wordpress default layout which you can use to create new deals.

When you successfully created deals using any method described above it will adds deal inside pipeline and it look like follows.

Move Deals

Each deal can be moved between stages by dragging a deal between different section. You can run automation based on deal movement using Groundhogg’s funnel builder. To achieve this, Groundhogg provides a new benchmark name “Deal Moved” which executes when deals moved inside the selected stage.

Each deal contains won/lost button. click on this button concludes the deal and moves it outside of pipeline. you can view all the win/lose deals on the Deals page. You can also move win/lose deals back to pipeline using deals page.

Edit Deals

There are two different ways using which you can edit your deals on the go.

To edit deals, you can click on the pencil icon which will open up a window where you can update details of a deal and you can save this changes by clicking on “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the popup. This window also displays additional details about contact like its lead source and source page.

Deals page also supports editing deals. To edit deal using deals page, you need to navigate your self to the deals page. Here, you can see a list of available deals. Click on the deal you want to edit. Once all the changes are completed click on update deal to save changes.
